Inspired by Copenhagen.
'Straedet' is number 3 in the Copenhagen print collection.
This print is based on Straedet (“The Alley”) which is made up of three streets in the old town of Copenhagen. We took inspiration from the colours and textures of the walls and buildings, the shapes of the cobbled streets and Denmark’s national flower, the Marguerite daisy. This area brings back warm memories of wandering in and out of small independent shops and enjoying a delicious brunch at Kompa9.
All our art work is hand painted with a mixture of digital collage and illustration.
Our art work is printed on Perlino Cotton. This is a really beautiful textured paper that is soft to the touch with great environmental characteristics – FSC Certified, 20% recycled, 15% cotton fibres.
